Pixiwoo make up brushes

I'm a sucker for a pretty brush, so it was not surprising when the beautiful Mrs Sam Chapman from Pixiwoos released her own line of makeup brushes, I was going to have to have them. All!

So here they are in all their Glory. I'm so impressed with these brushes, for how cheap they are, they are immense. The Multi task brush gives a beautiful finish to any look and is super soft. The essential foundation brush is just right for getting in all your nooks and cranny's, and the slanted foundation brush actually makes a pretty good contouring brush.

In my opinion though the domed eyeshadow brush is the essential brush to have, it fits right into the eye socket and takes all the bother out of blending. It is a lot wider then the Mac 287 and a lot less pointed, but for a cheaper alternative to it, this brush is definitely worth the buy.

Now on to the technical stuff, all these brushes are made from Taklon bristles which means they are animal friendly, and super soft.
They are all colour coded and state what they are used for on the brush handle, with the added bonus of them also being hand cut. The prices are really affordable, and the brushes are of great quality.

Mrs Sam herself has been a make up artist for 15 years, so if any ones going to know what we want from are make up brushes its her!

The Real techniques website, is extremely helpful, with lots of info on Sam and videos of her demonstrating how to achieve some beautiful looks with her brushes.

Ta for now

  1. They do look nice! I didn't know they were doing makeup, I don't really follow them. I know they are really full of advice, but somehow, never got the hang to watch the pixiwoo sisters.

Anyway, thanks for the review, might consider the brushes now!

  2. Ooh those brushes are super cute! I love how dense they are. I've been really into synthetic bristles too.
