L'oreal Pure Clay Masks

Tear off the mask, your face is
glorious.

Loreal Pure Clay Masks

Face masks are such a little treat aren't they. Like a immediate shot of TLC for the skin. My poor skin really goes through the mill with me constantly wearing/removing heavy makeup, so once a week I try and make a little time to give it some much needed love.
Now I'm not usually a clay mask kinda girl, to be honest I always thought they were just for a troubled/oily skin, but when I received the L'oreal Pure Clay Masks skin test to try (you can pick your own one up in Boots) I couldn't resist trying the mask out that was suggested for my skin type.
I do love a gimmick.

My results were that I have a  normal skin, which yes I do agree with but it can also be a little dry at times. So Armed with this knowledge you can then go on to pick the correct mask for you, which will either be -

Purity - Works deep into the pores, to purify and mattify the skin.

Detox - Acts like a magnet to draw out impurities to clarify the skin

Glow - Exfoliates the skin surface, to illuminate skin tone.

Now putting shock horror aside, I for once did not go for the illuminating option (who am I!?) but instead opted for the detox mask, as I do find round my 'lady time' of the month I can get a little congested around the T-Zone area.

Packaging?
A lovely glass weighted 50 ml jar with the name of the mask on it as clear as the day. Nice and simple so the other half doesn't get it confused with say a cleanser*.

Scent?
This does have a slight smell to it, but nothing offencive, in fact quite pleasant.

Results?
This definitly feels quite luxurious as the clay is lovely and thick, and once removed my skin did look visibly brighter and felt more fresh.

Cons?
I really wish this came with a little scoop to remove the product from the jar,

All in all this is a really nice little add on to your skin care routine and being that its only £5 its more then worth the money!

You can pick yours up from Boots.

*Turns out my beloved was using my Clinique Take The Day Off Balm as his facial moisturiser.
I cant even....

  1. Interesting, I like the idea of the skin test, although I assume it's just based on the amount of oil your skin transfers to the paper.
I used to love clay masks but for the past year or so I started noticing that they dry out my skin pretty badly - and I have combo skin to start with. So I've had to avoid them for a few months. I don't know if it's due to aging...

  5. You didn't go for the 'Glow' option? Who are you and where is Kate?! I think I actually want to try this mask now, not bad for a £5! Wait, no, want all 3! My skin is oily, sometimes combination and think the Detox version will draw out all the crap from my skin.

LOOOOOOL GIRL! The OH has often used my products incorrectly, come to think of it, so has my dad!
